The battle cry of the first American Revolution was “Taxation Without Representation Is Tyranny!”

The cry of the second is “Government Imposed Health Care Is Tyranny!”

I’m typing this as HR 3962 is being pushed through in an emergency weekend Saturday Night session of Congress. Looking over some of the comments posted on the internet by Americans and it is obvious they are not happy. I have seen postings on the order of Patrick Henry’s famous “Give me liberty or give me death!” speech. Obviously, those who oppose Government Enforced Health Care are a radical, lunatic, racist fringe minority who are completely out of step with Mainstream America. But it should be remembered our Founding Fathers were also a radical, lunatic fringe minority group who were out of step with mainstream British Rule approving Colonial America. They were also probably “racist” as well if judged by contemporary politically correct standards.

Cooler heads among those making comment are insisting on moderation and compromise in the remarks being posted. Most are insisting the best way to do things properly is to work within the system. This was the argument given to the Colonists as they expressed lack of satisfaction with King George’s totalitarian demands. It was suggested the Colonies should petition the King. And how did that work out for them?

It worked about as well as “working within the system” does today. King George laughed at the petitioners in exactly the same manner the god king in the White House laughs at protestors today. One of life’s inescapable truths is this. You cannot depend on the government to defend you from the government.

And the house has just passed HR 3962, a bill that makes you a criminal subject to fines and a jail term if you fail to buy government imposed health insurance! Yes, dear fellow American, the snake oil salesmen in Washington know what is best for you and they are determined to force you to submit to their rigid agenda for your life and if you are reluctant to conform to their demands, you are going to prison.

Personal note to Grand Hag Nancy Pelosi, the god king, and all the little czars and mini tyrants that populate Washington and who are pressing ahead with their totalitarian agenda to enslave Americans; You can get my jail cell ready now because I will not submit to the demands of a totalitarian dictatorship. As an American, resistance to tyranny is part of my DNA.

Let me be as clear on this as possible, to paraphrase John Hancock who signed the Declaration Of Independence with his signature so large “King George can read it without his glasses”, so that the god king and his cronies can understand what I am saying no matter how strung out on recreational drugs they happen to be at the moment.

I refuse the terms of the Health Care mandate imposed by HR 3962 and I will go to jail rather than submit to the demands of this unconstitutional piece of legislative garbage.

Is that clear enough for simple minds to understand?

The decisions that affect the care of my health are mine to make and is the province of no one else!

Americans can now, as a direct consequence of government interference, say good-bye to what was universally recognized as the best and most efficient Health Care system in the world. It is reported 45 percent of doctors have sworn they will no longer practice medicine under the tyranny of government imposed health care. Health care apologists may scoff and snicker at that report as an empty threat, but the fact is this country cannot afford to have ten, five or even one percent of doctors abandon their profession. As it stands today, there is a critical shortage of medical professionals in the field. New replacements are not currently replacing medical practitioners who abandon medicine. Any acceleration in doctors exiting from their field only makes a critical situation worse.

Never fear! The all wise, all merciful government will legislate replacement doctors for those who abandon their profession, but of what quality will the replacements be? Will they be selected from pressure groups of the proper political persuasion and pushed through medical training with an affirmative action mandate that sets a lower standard for acquisition of a doctor’s license? Will they be selected from volunteers loyal to the god king in the White House. Loyalty to a messiah does not guarantee even minimal competence. Will your new doctor be a fresh import from an African dictator state who has not had the opportunity to learn to speak your language? What happens if your doctor is the kind of person who resents government control of his practice? Worse, what if he is the sort who does not? You have been told there are problems with this country’s health care. Brother, you ain’t seen nothing yet!
